Guests have access to the Julen SPA (100 meters away), featuring a saltwater pool, Finnish sauna, and fitness room. The Alpenhof SPA includes an outdoor whirlpool and steam baths. Winter activities include skiing near 38 four-thousand-meter peaks, while summer offers hiking and e-bike rentals. A helicopter tour over the Matterhorn and visits to a black-nosed sheep farm are available. The hotel provides free entry to both spas.
Location & Transport
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Zermatt's cable cars and the Matterhorn Museum. The car-free village center, with shops and restaurants, is nearby. A complimentary e-taxi transfer from Zermatt's train station is provided on arrival and departure days. The Gornergrat Railway and Glacier Ride offer access to high-altitude viewpoints. Sion Airport is 80 km away.
Guest Services
Services include a free train station transfer (until 8 PM), ski pass and equipment rentals, and guided hikes to see black-nosed sheep. The front desk assists with ski school bookings and massage appointments. Half-board options allow dining at either Julen or Alpenhof restaurants. Disputes are settled under Swiss law in Visp.
